About Nuuds

Most clothes make you think twice. nuuds makes getting dressed easy, so you can walk out the door with confidence. We design clothes for real life and real bodies, through every stage, every season, every version of you. We obsess over fabric, fit, and feel so that getting dressed stops being a decision and becomes the easiest part of your day. nuuds is approachable, elevated essentials made to meet you exactly where you are.

We're growing fast and building a team that's as thoughtful, real, and bold as the brand itself. As a lean team with ambitious plans for continued growth, we understand that our people are the foundation of everything we build.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a long-term, part-time Apparel Design Intern to join our design team and help bring seasonal collections to life, from first sketch to finished sample. This is a hands-on internship for someone who loves the details of the design process as much as the big creative vision. You'll work closely with senior designers on everything from flats and tech packs to sampling and presentations, gaining real exposure to how a design team actually operates day to day.

Because this is a long-term role, you'll stay with us across multiple seasons, so you'll see collections move through the full development cycle and take on more ownership as you grow. Above all, we want someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and brings energy and positivity to a fast-moving team. If you're organized, adaptable, and excited to build your design career, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior designers with concept development, sketches, and seasonal line plans.

• Create and refine flat sketches, tech packs, and print/graphic artwork using Adobe Illustrator.

• Prepare and organize design files, color palettes, and trim/material references for each style.

• Support the sampling process by tracking submissions, fit comments, and revisions.

• Help maintain organized digital and physical files for color and pattern approvals.

• Help prep materials for design reviews, presentations, and cross-team meetings.

• Take on new tasks and responsibilities as they arise, with a proactive, can-do attitude.

What You'll Gain

• Hands-on experience across the full design and product development process, from concept through sampling.

• Mentorship and direct feedback from senior designers.

• Portfolio-ready work on real styles that go into production.

• Continuity across multiple seasons, with growing responsibility over time.

• A flexible schedule that works alongside school.

What You'll Bring

Required Experience & Skills

• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator; comfortable creating and editing flats, prints, and graphics.

• Solid computer basics: confident navigating file systems, email, and standard office software (Word, Excel, Google Suite, etc.).

• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced design environment.

• A go-getter attitude: self-motivated, resourceful, and eager to take initiative.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset.

• Genuine interest in apparel, fashion, and design trends.

• Currently pursuing a degree or coursework in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.

• Availability to commit to a consistent part-time schedule on a long-term basis.

• A portfolio showcasing flats, sketches, or design work is a plus.
