Prestigious Global Trading Corporation located in Midtown, New York City is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Back Office Operations Assistant to support the daily administrative and financial operations of a Non-Ferrous Metals business. Hybrid role - 3 days in office.

Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing and Financial Support
• Assist with processing invoices, payments, receipts, and related documentation
• Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness
• Enter and maintain transaction data in company systems
• Assist with account reconciliations and routine reporting
• Support month-end closing activities and audit requests
Administrative and Operational Support
• Follow up with internal departments and vendors regarding missing information or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical records
• Follow established company policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Back Office team
Qualifications
• Basic understanding of accounting principles or financial transactions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• SAP or Concur experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities
• Ability to learn new systems and work independently as well as collaboratively
• Exposure to commodity trading is preferred
