Developed and implemented operational improvement programs in a variety of complex transportation networks, resulting in reduced operating variability, reduced operating costs, improved operating margins, and significant market share improvement (more than 10 share points in a >$100MM market.) In particular, this work involved the optimization of complex, distributed asset networks.

Successes

 

Led operational/lean transformation effort in a multi-line, multi-facility manufacturing operation. Work led to sustained step-change improvements in operational performance, quality, and employee satisfaction.

 

Led sales and service organizational transformation for a global provider of hospital laboratory equipment (hematology and clinical chemistry.) Created an approach that enabled the protection of market share when the client was unable to introduce new products.

 

Developed a global strategy for leasing/service management for the world’s largest supplier of turbojet engines for large transport aircraft. Examined in detail the implications of PMA parts on service contract cost, performance, and conversion.
